Step by Step

The Appraisal Process

01

Initial Consultation

We begin with a conversation to understand your needs, the intended use of the appraisal, the type and scope of property involved, and any relevant deadlines. This allows us to define the scope of work and provide a fee estimate.

02

On-Site Inspection

A thorough, hands-on examination of each item is conducted at your location. We photograph, measure, and document condition, materials, maker’s marks, signatures, and any other identifying characteristics relevant to the valuation.

03

Research & Market Analysis

Using proprietary databases, auction records, dealer inventories, and professional networks, we research comparable sales and current market conditions to develop well-supported value conclusions.

04

Report Preparation

Each report is carefully written to include complete descriptions, photographs, market analysis, and value conclusions. All reports comply with USPAP standards and ISA reporting requirements.

05

Report Delivery

The completed appraisal report is delivered in a professional format suitable for its intended use—whether for the IRS, an attorney, an insurance company, or your personal records. We remain available to answer questions after delivery.
